NotesCam supports creating folders within iCloud, Dropdiv, and Google Drive. "Local File" is also an option but your notes will not be backed up.
Photos are saved as JPEG/JPG (.jpg) and transcripts are saved as text (.txt) files.
/Apps/NotesCam/<folder name>/
/NotesCam/<folder name>/
/NotesCam/<folder name>/
/NotesCam/<folder name>/
Notes are timestamped and placed within a year folder, and then a nested
month folder. For example, if your folder is called "whiteboard", you might
see something like this:

Yes! NotesCam is a free download for iOS and Android. You can use NotesCam for free for as long as you like, but you will be limited to 2 folders and all notes photos will contain a watermark.
NotesCam is a subscription service with a monthly plan and a yearly plan. Exact prices are listed in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. There are more details on the pricing page .
NotesCam doesn't support note deletion. To delete notes, use the file manager of your cloud storage service. (Dropdiv app, iOS Files app, Google Drive app, etc.)
No, we capture the full frame so you don't have to worry about cropping errors while you are capturing. NotesCam skips cropping and naming to create the fastest possible capture experience. Cropping and renaming is much faster and easier to do later on at a keyboard. Here is a free crop tool: Photo MultiTool: Crop
NotesCam doesn't have some features you might expect from a document scanner like cropping and file naming, but it is a great tool for capturing documents. Since each document can be captured with a single tap, it is much faster than other document scanners. Cropping and naming can be done more quickly afterwards when sitting down at a keyboard.
NotesCam doesn't collect your email address or ask you to create a password. If you use iCloud folders, you won't need to login at all. However, if you use Dropdiv or Google Drive, you will be sent to the respective website to login to your cloud storage service. NotesCam will never see your password.
Macs will recognize text in an image when you open it, but that text won't be made searchable. With NotesCam, the text is recognized and saved as a separate text file so the text can be searched on any system.
